Departing daily from Port Douglas... When you step aboard the 29 metre luxury dive catamaran Silversonic, you are set for an exhilarating day of fun, discovery and adventure in the natural wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef.
This is an ideal day for experienced divers and confident snorkellers. Visiting a rich tapestry of remote and exclusive World Heritage Great Barrier Reef sites, Silversonic has access to over 35 spectacular Agincourt ribbon reef sites. Each day, Silversonic takes you to visit three different sites over five hours, each chosen for visual and ecological diversity suited to the day’s conditions.
Certified divers have the option for up to three dives and exciting dive experiences; drift and wall dives, bommies and pinnacles, coral gardens and swim-throughs.
Introductory diving is also available for first time divers. An informative guided snorkel tour is included in the day. An added bonus during whale season, Silversonic has one of the few permits that allows guests to swim with dwarf minke whales if encountered – a truly unforgettable experience.
Silversonic features a state-of-the-art ride control system to help ensure a smooth journey, a submerged platform for easy water access, hot freshwater showers, change rooms, air conditioned lounges and a licensed bar.

If you do require a dive medical, it must be obtained prior to commencing the course and must not be more than 90days old when you start with us.
Certified divers must possess an internationally recognised SCUBA certificate card.

EMC: A Government Environmental Management Charge (EMC) of $8 per person per day applies to all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. This fee is included in the fare price.
Surcharge: Due to potential significant volatility in supply and operational costs, a surcharge may be applied due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure.
This additional fee includes Port Deparutre Tax and administration costs.

Fuel Surcharge: Due to the significant increase and volatility of fuel prices in Australia, it has regrettably become necessary to introduce a fuel surcharge to your ticket price, effective from Wednesday 1 April 2026. The surcharge is payable at the time of booking.
Fuel Surcharge Payable: $10 per adult, $5 per child (4 - 14 years). Price is per person and not applicable for infants (0 - 3 years)
This surcharge will be monitored and reviewed regularly in accordance with fuel price fluctuations. Thank you for your understanding.
