Open Water Ocean Referral Course

If you have completed the classroom theory and pool component of your PADI Open Water Certification, you can complete the compulsory practical dive component with Quicksilver Dive. After a short pool assessment session the day before diving, you will complete the practical component on board one of our partnered dive vessels with a Quicksilver Dive instructor. Four supervised training dives are required for the certification to be achieved.

If only 2 dives are required to complete the course, a single day trip option is available (pool session Wednesday, ocean dives Friday). Please enquire for availability.

Requirements:

  • PADI student number (additional fees maybe be incurred if the student doesn't already have a dive number)
  • Minimum age 10 years.
  • Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. Prior to commencing your dive course, you are required to complete the self-assessment Student Diver Medical Declaration. A positive response to any questions indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you will need to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.
  • If you do require a dive medical, it must be obtained prior to commencing the course and must not be more than 90 days old when you start with us.
